What isn't being said about home sleep apnea tests is that if you do test positive, you still need to be properly titrated and then need to find a CPAP provider who will service you properly. Some people can be titrated with an auto machine, others cannot.

Some people get uncomfortable doing a first time sleep test at a lab, with technology today, they can be comfortable and sleep at home. If a situation comes up and the results are negative, then further evalutaion would need to be applied.

If people could sleep at home, they wouldn't need a sleep study. It doesn't make any sense to do a home sleep test.
